The Global Solutions Business Process Management Principal (Director level equivalent) oversees Product Development processes across TU's regions and verticals. These processes encompass Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other areas, ensuring product quality.

You'll evaluate process efficiency and costs, develop improvement strategies, and manage change, including training and audits. Experience leading direct and matrixed teams across regions and verticals is crucial. Specifically, you'll focus on Solutions Product Development and related sub-process integration.

Success requires deep commercialization understanding, analytical skills, strong communication, and global team coordination. You'll drive process value with vision, strategy, and operational execution, encompassing process evolution, standardization, maturation, and effectiveness measurement.

What You'll Bring:

  • 8-10 years of combined experience in process management/optimization and product management; experience in leading and developing people.

  • Background in product development or cross-functional capacity across Product, IT, Compliance/Legal, Marketing, and Pricing with p roven cross-functional experience within business process management, project management, operations, or change management teams, serving as project manager/lead through successful execution and completion.

  • Diverse process improvement background that includes existing process analysis, development of enhancements to existing processes, or developing new processes. Implementation of processes & training/communication across stakeholder groups. Experience in process measurement, development KPI’s, and development insights that can be leveraged to further improve processes.

  • Strong Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) experience

  • Strong facilitator using effective collaboration and influence skills across geographic regions, time zones, and cultures. Persuasive communicator with the ability to interact effectively with leadership and across matrixed teams. Comfortable acting as the full-scale business owner and decision maker for transformation activities within your purview. Superior proactive, effective, and transparent oral and written communication skills and experience creating and visualizing data in many mediums

  • Experience operating in highly regulated and specialized environments, specifically, financial regulation, privacy regulation, software/technical development.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, flexibility, curiosity, initiative, and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying due dates and requirements to deliver a great, memorable experience.

We’re also looking for the preferred experience/skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we’re happy to support your development in:

  • Solid experience in strategy and consulting

  • Experience conducting change management activities across broad functions and geographies

  • Six Sigma, ITIL, ABPMP, or equivalent certification preferred

  • PMP, Agile or equivalent certification desirable but not required

Impact You'll Make:

  • Reports to the Vice President, Product Management

  • Help develop and streamline processes and create tools and templates so that product development, readiness and go-to market is more effective, successful, and consistent in sharing information with, and providing strategic support for departments throughout the organization.

  • Train the functionally diverse and global teams on how to leverage processes, tools and templates.

  • Manage important projects, keeping an eye on key deadlines, and keeping the team well-informed of upcoming commitments and/or responsibilities. Perform a variety of project management functions to ensure successful completion of a wide range of special projects.

  • Design creative and impactful ways to share understanding of progress and outcomes and will develop “metrics that matter” reporting and presentations to provide insights to a variety of stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $150,100.00 - $225,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
