POSITION SUMMARY


The Producer, Content Studio is responsible for managing the end-to-end production of high-quality content across multiple platforms, including video, digital and social media. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for storytelling to bring ideas to life. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with creative teams, account management, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the client’s vision and goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Production Management
    • Oversee all aspects of content production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
    • Develop production schedules, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with creative teams to translate concepts into executable content.
  • Studio Operations
    • Assist in day-to-day operational tasks of the studio, including billing, invoicing, job number and PO creation, resource management, and responding to internal requests
    • Develop and roll out studio best practices and processes in collaboration with the Executive Producer
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Account Management) to align project goals.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, including photographers, videographers, editors, and freelancers.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the production process.
  • Content Oversight
    • Ensure the quality and consistency of content across campaigns and platforms.
    • Provide creative input during shoots and post-production to enhance storytelling.
    • Stay updated on trends in media and technology to create innovative and culturally relevant content.
  • Budget & Resource Management
    • Track and manage production budgets, negotiating with vendors to maximize resources.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Compliance & Quality Control
    • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and technical specifications.
    Review and approve final content before delivery.


STATUS AND SCOPE


Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to the Executive Producer, Content Studio.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, digital media, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure content performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Knowledge of visual content creation, including basic photography and video editing skills, is a plus.




QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film Production, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content production, project management, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing content projects from start to finish.
  • Experience leading a creative team and managing external vendors.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous content production work, including video, digital, and written content.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and project management tools is a plus.
