Create and execute sports content for NBCUniversal's platforms, managing projects from ideation through post-production and ensuring alignment with brand initiatives.

Job Description
This role is responsible for the creative ideation and execution of sports content across all platforms in support of brand initiatives and sports properties of a major broadcasting company. Taking projects from brainstorm through post-production and supporting one-off creative needs as they arise. They will own the creation and production process of multi-platform video from ideation through post-production and project management.
Responsibilities
- Write/produce/edit primarily short form commercial, anthemic and topical promo spots for NBC, Golf Channel, USA & Peacock.
- Work with graphic designers, other editors, and audio mixers to shepherd projects through the entire production process.
- Develop innovative shoot ideas for individual events as well as full campaigns.
- Work with outside companies on campaign development, deliveries and execution.
- Partner with various in-house teams (Ad Sales, Affiliate Marketing, Consumer Marketing, and all digital platforms) to create additional creative for various NBC Universal needs.
- Collaborate with the team for brainstorming and script-writing across all sports properties.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2+ years experience writing, producing, and editing promos for a cable, broadcast or streaming network.
- Proficient in Avid editing.
- Must have a show reel that demonstrates recent editorial work.
- Knowledge of all aspects of video production and post-production.
