Johnson & Johnson PH is a leader in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.


This position is a critical part of the Johnson & Johnson PH U.S. marketing team. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of an integrated U.S therapy access strategy inclusive of lifecycle planning for the PH portfolio (OPSYNVI®, OPSUMIT® & UPTRAVI®). The Product Director, Therapy Access & Lifecycle Marketing, will be responsible for the leadership of multiple (2+) direct reports and must work closely with several functions including the Strategic Customer Group (SCG), PECs, Brand Marketing, Sales, and Sales Training along with outside vendors to effectively execute commercial activities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead development of executional focus for the field-based Therapy Access team inclusive of access pull through/fulfillment strategy and tactics for the brand


  • Provide strategic input and oversight of portfolio access positioning along with pull through strategies and tactics for an HCP audience


  • Participate and actively provide inputs to cross functional partners (e.g., SCG) as it relates to market access and pricing to align payer strategy with brand objectives


  • Develop and lead lifecycle planning including therapy access strategy and treatment support evolution in close partnership with SCG and PECs


  • Provide strategic input and oversight of execution for an unbranded Access Speaker Bureau (peer-to-peer education)


  • Develop competitive access strategies for pulmonary hypertension marketplace


  • Cultivate and identify Market Access insights for the brand, market, and PH landscape in partnership with field-based colleagues, market research, competitive intelligence, and analytics


  • Oversee tactical execution of direct and indirect reports


  • Lead all aspects of development for direct reports including coaching and development coordination, performance calibration, succession planning, developments plans and recruitment/retention planning


  • Along with colleagues across the organization, ensure compliant execution and delivery of forecast goals and business objectives for the PAH franchise



Qualifications

Education:


B.A./B.S. required; MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.


Experience and Skills:


Required:


  • 8 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare experience required; minimum of 4 years of healthcare marketing or related experience.


  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a heightened ability to collaborate and drive innovation in a matrixed environment.


  • Experience managing multiple demands and priorities on time, leading teams, gaining alignment, and driving decision-making.


  • Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority.


  • Demonstrated success partnering with field leadership and sales learning and development.


Preferred:


  • Market access, payer and/or therapy access experience in a rare disease market


  • Experience leading the development of Lifecycle strategy and planning


  • Demonstrated people management including direct leadership of 2+ reports


This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 25% travel.


The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
