Product Management Manager
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in Milwaukee, WI, Columbia City, IN, or Chicago, IL with monthly travel to other Regal Rexnord sites in the Midwest and Northeast.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, 5+ years of product management experience in industrial manufacturing, 3+ years of direct customer experience, willingness to travel up to 50%, proven people leadership skills, and competence in data management and analytics.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Product Management Manager oversees the Electromagnetic Clutches & Brakes product group, leading a team to ensure product growth, customer satisfaction, and profitable operations while collaborating across various departments and regions.
- Manage a team of Product Managers who are responsible for products manufactured at their sites to achieve goals of product growth and profitability, using tools including; value engineering exercises, asset management (inventory, capacity, where made), new product introductions, product portfolio, promotion (PR, sales collateral, trade shows, trade associations, advertising) and target customer sales efforts.
- Lead this team to gather, analyze, and communicate the technical and commercial needs of customers, serving as the primary point of escalation for critical customer-related issues.
- Maintain and share in-depth product knowledge and clear understanding of which individual product capabilities, functions and features are important and to which customers
- Lead project management on programs required to support multi-national customers and industries including sales activities, engineering activities, logistics activities and quotation and launching of major programs
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand priorities, support our roadmap and implement product and service solutions
- Works closely with the appropriate sales and marketing teams, as well as engineering and manufacturing, to keep all informed on pertinent market and product activities and trends at key customers, including; current and future projects, new or modified product needs, competitive activity, real market pricing, technology and product trends.
- Manage the implementation of market-based pricing strategy to customers and distribution partners to drive margin attainment, including negotiation of commercial agreements with select customers
- Influence product and market strategic decisions such as channels to utilize, specific product requirements (features, benefits, costs, technical), desired brand and pricing.
- Drive change and continuous improvement to ensure long term health of the product portfolio.
- Ensure coordination and transfer of technology across manufacturing plants and technical organization world-wide.
- Responsible for all commercial activities including pricing, quotations, NDAs, warranties, terms and conditions of sale and delivery and lead time requirements.
- Apply corporate policies governing the authorization and approval of contracts, quotations, and other commercial transactions.
- Maintains efficient and secure processes related to documents, drawings, intellectual property, customer prototype product orders, product realization, cost estimates, quotes, customer contracts, and other commercial documents.
- Collaborate with counterparts managing additional sites in other product groups or regions to navigate the complexity of a business with global operations and customers
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of Product Management and/or Commercial Operations experience in industrial manufacturing required
- 3+ years of direct customer experience in a highly matrixed environment required
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestic. Global travel as needed.
- Proven people leadership competencies required, direct people management preferred
- Experience with data management and analytics (Excel, PowerBI, ERP and CRM systems preferred)
- Basic competence with business finance concepts (margin, cost accounting, etc.)
