Seeking a Product Manager to drive marketing strategies, product planning, and new product development to enhance customer solutions within the healthcare sector.

Summary:

The Product Manager position is a mixture of downstream and upstream marketing with balanced focus on new product development and initiatives centered on marketing & sales strategies and execution.

Success in this role will be achieved through effective implementation in areas such as: Marketing Strategy Development, Execution & Program Management; Product Planning; Market Research and New Product Development; Leadership, Employee Development & Team Building.


  • This position will be based in Eden Prairie, MN with the option to work hybrid schedule after 60 days
  • 25% Domestic and International travel required

What you will do as a Product Manager:

Marketing Strategy Development, Execution & Program Management

  • Work closely with the commercial team to increase product penetration & utilization through the development of tools and programs that provide a seamless approach to selling value
  • Collaboratively identify issues, opportunities and associated strategies within assigned procedural areas through frequent conversations and interactions with Customers, sales leadership and account managers
  • Drive content and participate in sales meetings, national & regional conferences and events
  • Communicate with field representatives to assure awareness of product changes, pricing changes, new sales tools, corrective measures, etc.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for executing strategic plans and achieving product revenue goals

Leadership & Team Building

  • Create and drive short and long term product /procedural planning process within assigned product areas to achieve corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members to identify solutions based on data, building excitement and consensus specific to assigned product/procedural area to drive projects forward.

Planning

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership on the development/execution of action plans and new product launches including: forecasting and financial planning/business case development; market potential/opportunity and target share; value proposition creation; competitive analysis and market trends; market pricing; product life cycle planning; product training.
  • Identify, establish and maintain productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Accounts (KAs) in the medical community and primarily related to product areas of focus

Market Research & New Product Development

  • Provide strong leadership in all phases of the Stage Gate process including VOC supporting recommendations for NPD based on data and research.
  • Support cross-functional new product development teams with market objectives when completing documentation (PRD, IOS, Labeling, etc.), feasibility testing, and risk analysis for new products and line extensions
  • Actively participate in product testing with Customers to determine if product meets market needs
  • Drive planning for new product launches including forecasting, sales collateral, equipment evaluation requirements, pricing guidelines, and product training.
  • Review industry publications and practices to ensure products meet Customer needs and industry guidelines.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:

Required

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications or Technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing
  • Ability to travel up to 25% Domestically & Internationally
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements

Preferred

  • MBA
  • Medical device product marketing experience

Skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated effective planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications

Pay range for this opportunity is $98,500 - $130,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.


Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.


Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company’s 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
