SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Product Manager at Exeltis will strategically lead marketing initiatives for health care professionals and consumers, while collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to optimize brand representation.
Role Overview
The Product Manager at Exeltis strategically drives the conception, development and execution of health care professional and patient/consumer marketing plans in line with individual brand strategies and objectives. This role requires gaining upper management alignment, and cross functional, internal team (i.e. Sales Team, Sales Operations, Regulatory, Medical, and Legal) and external agency/vendor collaboration. Reports to VP, Marketing and Strategic Communications.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts market research and leverages consumer and HCP target insights to represent the portfolio as a thought leader in developing brand strategies.
- Guides the creative process for traditional HCP and consumer/provider oriented digital promotional material development with agencies, exploring innovative and compliant approaches to differentiate the brand from competition.
- Guides internal review of marketing materials with the promotional review committee consisting of Legal, Medical, and Regulatory partners, defending brand portfolio while ensuring optimized brand representation from a strategic and compliance standpoint.
- May manage a direct report (Associate Product Manager) in day-to-day activities consisting of liaising with sales team, marketing material dissemination to sales force, and speaker program/ tradeshow coordination.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with inter-department project management and organization leading to important company meetings/events (i.e. National Sales Meeting/Product Launch meetings)

Requirements and personal skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing or relevant field (MBA or equivalent is preferred but not required).
- Languages: Ability to read and interpret comprehensive and intricate research documents. Ability to work with executives and communicate appropriate processes, roles and responsibilities.
- Experience (years/area): 3+ years in pharmaceutical healthcare marketing or related industry. Women’s Health experience is a plus but not required.
- Specific Knowledge: Excellence in analytic skills (qualitative and quantitative) strategic thinking and problem-solving. Thorough understanding of regulatory processes.
- Travel: 10-20% of total time
- Personal skills: General management skills, strong presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas persuasively, strong interpersonal and people development skills, strong results-orientation, superior leadership skills, ability to anticipate problems and solve them successfully.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
