Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the development of products from inception through launch, ensuring they meet market needs and align with our strategic goals. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, market insight, and strong leadership skills to drive product success.

The Poultry Product Manager is responsible for developing product plans, pricing, promotions, sales tools, and providing analysis of specific markets. Responsibilities include project management, copywriting, and providing direction for the development of brochures, catalogs, tradeshow and event communication strategies, and e-marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market size, competitors, distributor and end-user requirements for assigned product lines.
  • Develop and implement product line plans to achieve marketing, sales, and financial performance objectives.
  • Identify new product opportunities and speak for the customer in terms of requirements in product features, service, technical application, pricing and delivery. Participate on cross functional team for new product development projects.
  • Perform financial analysis and recommend pricing levels to achieve target revenues/gross margins.
  • Forecast product sales.
  • Communicate price and price changes to all participants in the sales process through letters, emails, website, direct mail, etc.
  • Develop marketing materials, in conjunction with internal graphic design, including, but not limited to catalogs, brochures, training materials, internet marketing, etc.
  • Develop trade show goals and communication strategy and implement in conjunction with sales and marketing team.
  • Requires 25-45% travel.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • BS/BA/BBA degree in business or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in marketing.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills in a business environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Copywriting skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in the poultry industry.
  • Experience in fieldwork.

As a member of the marketing team, the Product Manager reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works closely with other members of the organization

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
