SHORT DESCRIPTION

Support the development of Cisive’s GTM strategy, acting as the voice of the customer to shape product development, messaging, and marketing strategies in the background screening space.

Job Summary

This role will support the development of the team’s GTM strategy, lead the tactical components of product marketing engagements, and have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of product-related initiatives. This role will be the voice of the customer within the company, helping to shape product development, positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience. This strategic role requires advanced industry insights, powerful storytelling capabilities, strong brand appreciation, and intimate customer knowledge. This role is critical in ensuring Cisive’s product offerings are effectively communicated to the market and that they exceed the needs of our customers in the background screening space.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cisive’s products, market position, and competitive landscape.
  • Create initial product messaging and positioning differentiating Cisive in the market and arms our GTM teams with the collateral they need to win.
  • Partner with sales and product teams to gather insights and feedback on product features and customer needs.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Create compelling product marketing collateral, including sales decks, case studies, and white papers.
  • Train and enable the sales team on product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Conduct deep voice of customer research and report findings and recommendations back to executive team.
    • Conduct ongoing market research and white space and competitive analysis to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Measure and report on the success of product marketing initiatives, optimizing for better engagement and conversion.
  • Expand Cisive’s thought leadership in the HR tech space through product-focused content and campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B Product Marketing, preferably in HR tech or background screening required.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, brand, and product positioning.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex product features into clear customer benefits.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform product strategies.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making and a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
