About NashBio: Smarter data enables smarter outcomes. Modern healthcare systems produce endless amounts of data, but finding the right data to enhance R&D can be a big challenge. At NashBio, our mission is to make complex healthcare data easy to use. Our approach focuses on our clients’ use cases - tailoring multimodal datasets to their unique specifications to achieve optimal return on clinical, operational and financial investment. To accomplish this, we leverage deidentified, phenotypically deep, disease enriched real-world ‘omics datasets, including one of the world’s largest collections of whole genome sequencing (WGS) linked to electronic health records. NashBio works with companies of all sizes across the life sciences, including biopharma, diagnostics, med tech, tech bio and leading venture firms. We are profitably revenue-generating and recently co-founded the Alliance for Genomic Discovery (AGD) with nine other leading life science companies active in genomics. NashBio is now actively planning its next strategic horizons to further establish itself as the indispensable real-world omics resource for life sciences R&D.

Position Description: NashBio is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our growing product team in driving the strategy and go-to-market execution for our portfolio of real-world data products and professional services. This position serves as a bridge between our product development teams and the market, requiring a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of our offerings and the complex needs of life science researchers. You will lead voice-of-customer initiatives and collaborate closely with product managers to identify new opportunities, ensure market alignment and drive product success. You will articulate the unique value of our data products and associated services to researchers and innovators in biopharma, diagnostics, med tech and other life sciences industries. You will be instrumental in shaping and communicating compelling stories that illustrate how our real-world data products empower life science organizations to answer their unique research questions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Positioning

  • Partner with product managers to develop compelling product messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the unique value proposition of our real-world data products and professional services to life science organizations
  • Create and maintain market research and competitive intelligence on the biomedical data and research services landscape
  • Define and document buyer personas across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech segments - Work closely with product managers to develop pricing and packaging strategies that resonate with target audiences
  • Align product marketing initiatives with overall product roadmap and company strategy

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead go-to-market efforts collaborating with product, marketing, sales and customer success to ensure successful product launches, enablement and product adoption
  • Work closely with marketing to develop comprehensive campaigns that drive demand for our data products and services
  • Collaborate with NashBio subject matter experts to create white papers, webinars and other high-impact content to establish NashBio as a leader in the multi-modal, multi-omic data space
  • Craft compelling storylines that articulate the value proposition of NashBio’s solutions and create external facing content to promote our product portfolio across channels (collateral, web, digital, print, etc.)
  • Develop content for sales enablement including case studies, ROI tools, buyer guides and collateral and lead training sessions to ensure cohesive execution in the field

Market Insights & Voice of the Customer

  • Lead market research efforts to understand customer needs, competitive landscape and emerging trends
  • Become the expert on our buyer’s journey, decision-marking process and key buying criteria
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the life sciences research community
  • Use market insights to influence product roadmaps and inform product positioning and pricing
  • Define and track key performance metrics such as win rates, product utilization and customer satisfaction to measure success and identify areas for improvement

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Work as an integral part of the product team to incorporate market feedback into product development
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints
  • Partner with sales to develop effective tools and collateral that accelerate the sales cycle
  • Engage with customer success to gather insights on product usage and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to product team planning sessions and strategic initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a demonstrated ability to own programs end-to-end
  • Background in driving successful B2B data product launches in life sciences, healthcare technology or related fields
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, product position and messaging and using insights to inform and optimize product marketing strategies
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams to translate complex customer needs into market-ready solutions
  • Exceptional communicator with strong listening, written and oral communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling stories
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific or business related field Preferred

Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a life sciences field
  • Knowledge of genomic sequencing, clinical trials and/or complex healthcare data (e.g., electronic health records)
  • Familiarity with healthcare data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms (i.e., HubSpot)
  • Experience marketing products in health care, technology or life science fields
  • Experience working in a start-up or rapid-paced environment

Location: NashBio is headquartered in Nashville, TN but operates in a remote model. This role is a remote position and qualified candidates from across the US will be considered.
