Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning & Messaging:
- Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
- Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Assist in the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing teams
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify and understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform product development and marketing strategy
Product Launches:
- Work closely with the Director of Product Marketing to drive product launch efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and effective communication
Sales Enablement:
- Develop and deliver sales enablement materials to ensure sales teams can effectively position and sell products
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with product managers to produce high-quality marketing collateral such as slicks, factsheets, FAQs, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and product demos
Campaign Management:
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, engagement, and conversions
Performance Tracking:
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives to measure success and refine strategies
Key Metrics for Success:
- Product Launch Goal Attainment: Meeting or exceeding targets for product launches, including sales, adoption, and engagement goals.
- Win/Loss Ratio on Competitive Deals: Improvement in win rates against key competitors
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and marketing strategies
- Experience with product launches, go-to-market planning, and sales enablement
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and other teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing
- Experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and SEO keywords
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Preferred skills in marketing automation tools (HubSpot) and CRM (Salesforce)
