SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Product Marketing Manager for Parishes & Schools will oversee marketing efforts for educational and sacramental programs at the Augustine Institute, engaging parish and school leaders to increase adoption and retention through effective marketing strategies.
Position: Product Marketing Manager - Parishes & Schools
FLSA: Exempt (not eligible for overtime in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations)
Reporting to: Sr. Product Marketing Manager
Position Summary
The Product Marketing Manager for Parishes and Schools leads Augustine Institute promotional efforts for parish programs, sacramental preparation, and Catholic curriculum. Working with the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Formed & Curriculum, this role will serve as SME for parish programs, Bible studies, sacramental preparation, Catholic curriculum, and other content supporting parish and school subscribers, provided primarily through Formed and Word of Life. In collaboration with the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Formed and Curriculum, this role will develop effective marketing campaigns to engage parish and school staff, and Catholic educators and catechists, to increase adoption, engagement, and retention of Augustine Institute offerings. The ideal candidate will bring diverse experiences ranging from managing digital media campaigns to delivering campaign reports for key stakeholders and executive leadership. Deep brand and product marketing experience is required! Lifecycle marketing experience is highly desired.
The ideal candidate will bring a desire and passion for storytelling and eliciting emotion in school and parish leaders, driving them to action. Experience with media, Catholic education, marketing automation, Google Marketing Platforms (GTM & GA4), Digital Media, and Agile marketing is desired. The ability to influence and transform through marketing engagement is a must! This role will help grow parish accounts by reaching parish and school leaders with the right messaging during their decision-making process; help them understand what Formed and Word of Life can offer their parishioners and students while introducing them to a wealth of additional resources available to them through the Augustine Institute.
Roles & Responsibilities
Look at holistic data on leads and existing customers to evaluate successful strategies and areas for improvement/growth.
Drive organizational success toward OKRs and KPIs, including usage statistics, adoption, and retention.
Own and champion the customer journeys for parish and school customers, while developing and maintaining customer personas.
In partnership with Product Managers, and the Sr. Product Marketing Manager of Formed and Curriculum, coordinate and organize parish and school marketing activities across all media platforms, including but not limited to email, PR, direct mail, social media, awards, agencies, communications, and events.
Work closely with creative services, marketing operations, and digital marketing to manage timelines and create assets for marketing efforts, sales, and customer success.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors.
Work in collaboration with Web Analytics and Reporting Manager to develop standardized reporting processes and metrics that keep goals, objectives, and performance highly visible for stakeholders across the apostolate.
Provide product marketing management expertise in brand positioning, engagement and communication, and collaborate with product teams to execute marketplace and consumer research.
Research, analyze, and monitor economic, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and the competitive landscape.
Discover cross-sell and upsell opportunities to increase the engagement and LTV of parish and school customers.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing professional omnichannel brand & lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Experience working for a Catholic apostolate, in Catholic education, or as a catechist is preferred.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Possesses an understanding of the Catholic Church, general knowledge of diocesan, parish, and Catholic school organization/operations, and a deep empathy with catechists and Catholic educators.
- Familiarity with analytics and data reporting, especially in Google Analytics and HubSpot
- Experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns with marketing automation software like HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Pardot.
- Experience developing marketing campaigns for B2B audiences.
- Process-driven with outstanding organization and project management skills, especially in prioritizing competing priorities and knowing when and how to say no.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to define and achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the organization’s goals
