Product Marketing Project Manager - Independent Contractor

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Independent Contractor position in Product Marketing focused on developing digital assets for online programs and retreats, requiring strong project management and creative skills.
This is a contract position. You must be an established Independent Contractor to be considered. This Independent Contractor opportunity is for up to 36 hours per month in February and up to 66 hours per month for March. It may increase to as high as up to 87 hours per month starting in April, dependent upon business needs. You must be available to work hours matched to Pacific times, typically somewhere between 9am-5pm, Mon.-Fri. This contract opportunity will pay $40-44 per hour dependent upon experience and qualifications.

About This Position:
As an Independent Contractor in Product Marketing, you’ll engage with the team responsible for developing and producing the digital assets for online programs and retreats necessary to deliver our marketing and product communication to the world. You will possess a balanced combination of strong creative, project management and overall marketing skills with a solid understanding of creative direction, ad specs, video formats, graphic design and content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage all marketing asset deliverables for online programs and in-person retreats ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and meets a high-quality standard
- Plan and organize marketing assets as needed for all projects and campaigns – organize and prioritize project requirements even for initiatives that may be ambiguous in the planning stage, or fast-tracked with tight deadlines
- Liaise between strategic marketing stakeholders, including product marketing leads and campaign strategist, and creative staff (internal and external) to ensure clear direction is achieved along with proper details so the final deliverables meet our desired outcomes and guidelines
- Facilitate creative approvals by overseeing the proofing process, routing work to stakeholders for feedback and obtaining the appropriate sign-offs
- Proactively obtain and manage all necessary project details for each marketing asset project request, including reference assets, screens, resource files and previously created templates
- Attend agreed upon meetings and scrums to review the status of projects and resource and asset management relating to all active marketing campaigns you’re assigned
- Monitor problems, provide solutions, and implement changes as necessary to ensure project timelines are followed
- Other services that may be reasonably requested.
Qualifications and Characteristics Desired:
- 3+ years marketing project management experience
- Competence and confidence with technology platforms preferably with experience in:
- Slack
- Asana
- Confluence
- AirTable
- Willingness to learn Aurora
- Knowledge of transformational content and online learning with focus on leading teachers, schools of thought, and market trends
- Excellent organizational, time, strategic, management, writing and communication skills
- 1-2 years remote office experience, preferred
