SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Product Operations Analyst will assist the Product team in managing product life cycles and maximizing profitability for Nike's Equipment & Accessories line, focusing on Sports Marketing and Inline responsibilities.
The Product Operations Analyst for our Nike Equipment & Accessories business will support the Product team with all aspects of creating and managing the life-cycle matrix for a series of assigned products within the equipment and accessory categories. As the Product Operations Analyst, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to maximize growth and profitability. The role will have a Sports Marketing primary focus and assist with Inline responsibilities as able.
What You'll Do:
Sports Marketing:
- Create and maintain all style and SKU data management for all projects under Sports Martketing
- Manage calendar and submissions associated with Seasonal Gameday uploads for Nike Sports Marketing.
- Work closely with APLM teammates, ensuring accurate information to prevent SKU or PO revisions.
- Take over the automatization of the Cross-Reference report, pushing to make this file as accurate and streamlined as we can.
- Manage the correct Inline assortments to offer in addition to Sports Marketing styles on a seasonal basis.
- Oversee all late requests, discrepancies, and communication that comes from Nike.
- Conduct weekly status meetings reviewing open projects ensuring delivery is meeting customer request dates.
- Attend all Pre-PO and Post-PO weekly meetings for further project tracking and validation.
- Responsible for end-to-end management of off-calendar requests. In control of initial style setups all the way through placing purchase orders with Operations teammates.
- Own and manage Key Sport Moment and Player Edition Projects.
- Work closely with JR286 Flex Ops Team, Sales, and Nike PIA team to drive accuracy and confidence between the two systems.
- Maintain and manage new additions to Project trackers ensuring teams have necessary information to accurately track their respective milestones.
- Explore new ways to streamline and/or elevate project tracking.
- Drive “one source of truth” across the company. Elevating deliverables to be as seamless and automated as possible.
- Be an expert in day-to-day operations within the calendar. Raise concerns or opportunities to drive efficiencies where current structure is not optimal.
Inline:
- Create and maintain sales and marketing specific line-lists to communicate salesman sample ordering and product marketing collateral.
- Manage seasonal SMU process: design creation/approval, SKU creation processes, ordering and confirming. Work cross functionally with Sales, Ops and Procurement Teams.
- Be the go-to resource across departments for all SKU-related information within product databases. Including (but not limited to) pricing, active seasons, size ranges, etc.
- Help create and maintain seasonal Visual Line Plans for internal and external use. Ensure VLP alignment to line list.
- Work cross functionally as part of a team with Design, Development, Marketing, Sales, Planning and Operations on all matters related to assigned products.
- Conduct on-going market analysis to identify consumer, competition and product technology trends relevant to assigned products.
- Other duties as assigned. Will have the ability to learn and work in the retail product creation cycle as well as Sports Marketing applications.
What to Bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in a Product related role; Outdoor/Action Sports/Sporting goods industries preferred.
- Understanding of FLEX or similar PLM software.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, and presentation skills.
- Expert level with Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of the product lifestyle, including design and development with technical attributes of performance materials and production techniques.
- Familiarity in working with domestic and overseas vendors.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results driven organization.
- Strong organizational skills; managing many diverse projects with different deadlines and priorities.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and independent initiative toward accomplishing objectives.
