We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Owner to join our Marketing Technology Team. This position will drive the strategic direction and roadmap for our marketing automation platform - Adobe Marketo - enabling us to deliver innovative personalized experiences to our prospects and customers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, prioritizing features, and delivering solutions that enable our business units to implement highly effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Marketing Automation product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives, segment and customer needs

  • Work closely with segment and digital teams, define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for enhancements and bugs

  • Drive standard processes for marketing automation and lead path to revenue with People, Processes and Technology to build alignment between Sales, Marketing and Digital

  • Develop a consistent way of measuring performance, tagging and attribution, working closely with web analytics lead and Salesforce team

  • Lead and teach best practices to marketing product/platform users - develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.

  • Support business units with the development, implementation and management of automated workflows, lead scoring models, and automated marketing campaigns to optimize lead nurturing and conversion

  • Serve as a leader and subject matter expert in marketing automation, staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and AI advancements in the industry.

  • Monitor product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Represent the product internally and externally, effectively communicating product vision, strategy, and value proposition to stakeholders and customers.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience as a product owner in the marketing automation or related technologies, with a track record of successfully delivering complex products

  • Adobe Marketo Certification preferred but not required

  • Ideally 5-7+ years experience with Adobe Marketo and integrations with Salesforce Sales Cloud– with a deep understanding of how multiple systems integrate to form a measurable marketing automation program.

  • Strong technical background and understanding of B2B marketing automation concepts, processes, and technologies.

  • Ability to drive the strategic direction and roadmap for our marketing automation program

  • Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mentality, with a deep understanding of user experience and design principles.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal customers.

  • Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) as they relate to marketing campaigns, to ensure compliance with and adherence to nVent data privacy standards

  • Experience with agile methodologies and project manager techniques.
