Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Information Manager to join our team in Forest Lake, MN (100% on-site position). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product data across multiple platforms, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining consistency throughout our product lifecycle. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and plays a crucial role in our e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain product information across 12 different sites
  • Oversee product setup, including descriptions, images, and specifications on e-commerce platforms
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across all channels
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and maintain optimal product data quality
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to e-commerce platforms
  • Develop and implement process improvements

Must Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field OR 4-5 years of equivalent experience in product information management
  • Three to Five years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Proven experience in e-commerce and product data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Experience with data integration and management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PIM/MDM systems (particularly Amplify and Salsify)
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages
  • Familiarity with various data formats (XML, JSON, TXT, XLS)
  • Experience with API integrations and web services

Relevant certifications such as:

  • Product Information Management Certification (PIMC)
  • Certified Digital Commerce Professional (CDCP)
  • Certified E-commerce Specialist (CES)
  • Agile certification (SCRUM)
