Program Coordinator
LOCATION
Hybrid (4 days onsite in Midtown Atlanta, GA during probationary period, 3 days thereafter)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience, proficiency with MS Office Suite, social media management, virtual meeting platforms, CRM, and email marketing. Training/certification in breastfeeding and human lactation preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage program deliverables, prepare monthly and quarterly reports, plan meetings, develop content, schedule programs, maintain files, assist in budgeting and invoicing, and support the Program Director with various tasks.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Program Manager/Coordinator will oversee breastfeeding programming deliverables, requiring strong administrative and communication skills, along with a background in public health. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000.
The Program Manager/Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and reporting on contract deliverables relating to breastfeeding programming and will act as a member of the Chapter staff team. This is a hybrid position requiring four days a week in-office at the Georgia Chapter- American Academy of Pediatrics in midtown Atlanta during the probationary period and three days a week thereafter. The ideal person for the job will possess strong administrative and communication skills and is detail-oriented, have an interest and background in public health, breastfeeding/human lactation, neonatal health, and/or perinatal health. The salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience, along with a competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing program deliverables, preparing reports for monthly and quarterly reporting, meeting planning, content development, developing clinical education, scheduling programs, ordering and preparing materials, invoicing, maintaining files, and assisting the Program Director in various programmatic tasks and projects. Occasional travel and weekend work will be required.
Program Coordinator Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of MS Office Suite including Teams
- Competence in Social Media management
- Competence with virtual meeting platforms
- Competence with CRM and email marketing platforms
- Ability to assist in the management of program project deliverables, including budgeting and invoicing processes
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
- Ability to manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Collaborative work style; self-starter
- Professional-level verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
- Training/certification in breastfeeding and human lactation preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
