Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, 5+ years of experience in event and/or project planning, familiarity with accounting tools and Splash tools, and proficiency in creative programs such as Canva & Photoshop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate office welcome programs, support event logistics for local and social events, manage budget and vendor relations, maintain online communication channels, and produce branded materials for events.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Program Coordinator III role focuses on enhancing employee experience through event and community program execution at Meta's Southern California Regional offices.
Position Title: Program Coordinator III
Location: US – CA – Los Angeles (Square Building – 12126 E Waterfront Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90094)
Length of Contract: 12 months
Role Mandate:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with large organizations, driving strategic projects and internal culture and community programming. The person will be highly organized, a team player and be passionate about identifying improvements in current practices, designing and implementing new strategic programming, event planning and execution, office administration, including budget management and be able to track several concurrent projects through to completion.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Coordinate Office Welcome program logistics, presentation updates, and manage groups/listserv.
- Supports event logistics, and execution for local events in line with approved budget and in coordination with the CX Manager
- Supports event logistics and execution for social events Coordinates a calendar of events each quarter in partnership with the CX Manager
- Leads event production for SoCal location wide events as needed including All Hands, Leadership Fireside Chats and executive visits in partnership with CX Manager and event host(s)
- Collects feedback from attendees, hosts event debriefs, and compiles data on events to inform future planning efforts
- SoCal Wiki & Microsite Updates: Maintains communication support channels for SoCal region. Serve as the main POC for ensuring site resources are up to date and relevant
- Manage purchase orders, coordinates vendor management and on-boarding, updates budget tracker and reconciles budget as needed. In partnership with CX Manager and Finance SOPs
- Manages Meta LA branded swag, procurement, storage, and distribution
- Create communications, marketing materials, digital assets, etc., for various events and programs
Performance Measurement:
Performance is measured on feedback from the team (especially XFN team), ability to maintain relationships, and influence others in a positive way!
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in event and/or project planning for small & large organizations
- Former Meta experience (FTE/CW)
- Experience with Splash tools – accounting experience / accounting tools (Buy@, navigate getting contracts, submitting expense reports)
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time
- Experience managing and working within specified budgets
- Experience using and building out data to solve problems
- Experience with venues, activities, and events resources
- Proven experience building cross-functional relationships between various support partners
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty
- Proven experience collaborating as part of a cross-regional team
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Programs, Keynote, Outlook
- Strong technical skills to utilize internal Event and Registration Tools
- Experience working with creative programs such as Canva & Photoshop
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous project coordination experience
- Experience working with XFN teams (Facilities, Events, Amenities teams)
- Opening Buy@ or A/P is critical
- Computer knowledge and interest
- Event planning applications
- Digital marketing experience
- Onboarding experience

Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field
Skills Assessment:
- 1st Round – CWAM, 30 minutes
- 2nd Round – Community Engagement Partner / Managers, 30 minutes
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
