Job Summary
The Program Manager will be responsible for various tasks, including program and event
development and management, sponsorship development, outreach expansion and management,
contract and agreement management, and daily operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the
smooth operation of the Center.

Job Duties
Summary of job duties:

Strategic Partnerships and Networking, and Outreach:
  • Develop and maintain operational and strategic relationships related to the Center's programs.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Morgan’s departments and Centers and partner universities and agencies.
  • Maintain and expand the Center’s networking list to increase participation from all HBCUs.


Website and Social Media Updates:
  • Regularly update the Center’s website to ensure accurate and current information. Manage the Center’s social media accounts.
  • Report Preparation and Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports on the implementation and delivery of programs. Prepare high-quality reports.

Meeting Participation:
  • Regularly attend, present, and contribute to internal and external meetings.

Contract Management:
  • Manage contracts and service-level agreements with partner organizations and companies.
  • Program Assessment and Quality Assurance: Evaluate the outcomes of events
    and programs and conduct & lessons learned; sessions with stakeholders.
  • Regularly review programs to ensure they maintain high quality and achieve desired impacts.
    Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement program improvements to
    enhance their impact.

  • Program Development:
  • Oversee programs; operational development and delivery, ensuring they meet the needs of participants and funders.
  • Participate in training and professional development as needed.

Requested Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, IT, or closely related field from an accredited college or university.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of five years of managerial experience is required.

Other Preferences for Consideration
  • A Master’s Degree in any business area, IT, or a closely related field.
  • Certification or training: Experience with software such as Asana, Jira, MS Project, etc.
  • Event Planning: Proven experience in planning and executing seminars, symposiums, conferences, and other convenings.
  • Data Analysis and assessment: Skills in data analysis and program assessment.
  • Email marketing and CRM: Experience in setting up and using email marketing and/or CRM platforms.
  • Grant Writing: Experience with grant writing and securing external funding.
  • FinTech Knowledge: Knowledge of FinTech, blockchain, and cryptoeconomics.
  • Communications and Public Relations: Proficiency in web and blog development and maintenance, and experience with public relations and marketing to increase visibility.
  • Familiarity with software such as Asana, Jira, MS Project, etc.

  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Proven oral, and written communication skills, and report-writing. Effective communication with various stakeholders to promote programs.


  • Project Management: Experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting projects and programs.

  • Sponsorship and Fundraising: Experience in developing sponsorships and fundraising.

  • Networking and Outreach: Proven experience in building and managing partnerships and outreach to multiple organizations and constituent groups.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated skills in financial modeling in Excel or similar software and proficiency in productivity software and be knowledgeable in using conferencing technologies and platforms.
