Project Coordinator, Direct Response

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years post-master's or 5 years post-bachelor's project coordination experience, preferred experience in nonprofit, research, or health care environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Project Coordinator, Direct Response, will support fundraising efforts at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center by coordinating activities and collaborating with internal teams and agency partners to engage new donors and aid in the philanthropy program.

Some travel and weekend and evening work may be required.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
- Work with colleagues across Experience & Engagement, Advancement Services, and Marketing & Communications, including writers, designers, content strategists, and data specialists, to coordinate multi-channel, broad-based fundraising communications.
- Work collaboratively with agency partners to proactively organize workflow, track milestones and deliverables, schedule meetings, process and code invoices, and report on program activity.
- Coordinate Philanthropy programmatic and administrative activities, ensuring all projects are completed according to established timelines and annual goals.
- Develop donor-facing materials and departmental materials; support review, edit, and refinement of materials.
- Carry-out complex assignments in support of revenue and expense expectations, including handling of gifts.
- Serve as liaison in cross-team activities and in Center-wide events with donors, community, and/or outside organizations.
- Attend meetings, monitor activities to ensure objectives have been met within designated time frame, and coordinate follow-up activities.
- Coordinate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
- Track progress and prepare reports.
- Assist in the analysis of revenue projections and program strategies.
- Coordinate the submission of materials for leadership meetings and events, including writing and reviewing content.
- Produce special and recurring reports.
- Support operational excellence and ensure expenditures are in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
- Serve as an individual contributor; this role does not have people, program, or fundraising responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Three years post-master’s or five years-post bachelor’s project coordination experience.
- Experience in nonprofit, research, or health care environment with campaign planning or campaign implementation experience.
- Experience building working relationships with external partners.
- Proven ability to engage individuals on the phone, by email, and in person.
- Experience working with Smartsheet and/or other project management software such as Asana or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly developed organizational and information management skills.
- Strong attention to a high level of detail and quality of work.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a complex organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a CRM, Raiser’s Edge/RENXT, or related fundraising software.
- Ability to handle and respect confidential and sensitive information.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $71,552 to $107,328, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
