Project Manager
LOCATION
San Antonio & Austin, TX (Preferred candidates from New Braunfels, Schertz, San Marcos, or Kyle, TX)
QUALIFICATIONS
One or more years of experience in an upper-management role (preferably in program management), exceptional leadership, time management and organization skills, stakeholder management experience, knowledge of digital marketing. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, grant writing experience, and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage student recruitment, secure funding, track enrollment processes, oversee Austin & San Antonio programs, monitor student progress, maintain training provider lists, perform data analysis, manage expenses, promote the program at job fairs, handle clerical duties, update social media and website, and assist in reports and presentations.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Lone Star Construction Trades Training is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee student recruitment, program management, and funding to support a Pre-Apprenticeship Program for under-represented populations in the construction trades.

Lone Star Construction Trades Training is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We are a Pre-Apprenticeship Program that prepares women, men and under-represented populations to enter and succeed in Registered Apprenticeship programs. We pride ourselves on delivering quality education across a variety of construction trades. Our success is largely dependent on the ability of our program manager. We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our team to achieve this goal.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Student recruitment
- Secure funding for students
- Track enrollment funding until payments are complete
- Manage the Austin & San Antonio programs/manage sign-ups/ enrollment meetings.
- Contact applicants to determine and to recommend the best funding route.
- Follow up with students and monitor their progress after the program.
- Contact applicants with “Welcome to Class” emails and liability forms.
- Maintain Eligible Training Provider List.
- Maintain Data Analysis/Statistics of students and employment progress.
- Update Ready to Work with data analysis/statistics.
- Track Program Manager expenses.
- Attend job fairs and schools to promote the Lone Star CTT program and network with other organizations.
- Oversee multiple project class rosters
- Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Ensure records are kept up to date
- Update social media pages
- Maintain website
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis
Required skills and qualifications
- One or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
- Experience in managing stakeholders
- Working knowledge of digital marketing
- Must be a self-starter and innovative thinker
- Must be able to work on location in San Antonio & Austin TX
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
- Experience in grant writing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Ideal location for candidates are New Braunfels, Schertz, San Marcos, or Kyle TX.
One-week paid vacation after one year of service
