Position:
RPR is seeking a talented and dynamic Account Director to join our growing team. A successful candidate will have at least 6+ years’ of agency experience and a commitment to provide exceptional client service.

*This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.

Responsibilities:

Develop strategic plans/programs for all assigned clients and oversee the implementation of all plans/programs by team members ensuring the highest quality and client service
Oversee the day to day operations of all accounts with responsibility for deadlines and budget adherence
Produce high quality content across all forms of media
Cultivate relationships with existing media contacts and continually source new contacts
Pitch and place coverage for clients in top tier publications
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior level staff supervising quality and performance and ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
Actively participate in new business efforts and seek opportunities to grow assigned accounts and source new opportunities

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
6+ years’ agency experience preferably in luxury brands, consumer products or hospitality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Client facing with the ability to persuade and influence
Proactive with strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work with tight deadlines
Established media contacts

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this exempt role is $80k-$95k/yr. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and location.
