Position Summary
The PR Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing public relations and marketing strategies that enhance the company's visibility, reputation, and market positioning. This role involves managing media relations, developing marketing campaigns, and overseeing content creation to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Public Relations Strategy:
- Develop and execute PR strategies to build and maintain a positive public image for the organization.
- Establish and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Manage press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that PR efforts align with broader marketing objectives and brand messaging.
- Oversee the development of promotional materials, including brochures, advertisements, and digital content.
- Media and Influencer Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interviews.
- Identify and engage key influencers to amplify brand messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and manage media tracking reports.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Lead the development of compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, and newsletters.
- Ensure consistent messaging and tone across all content.
- Manage the company's presence on social media, driving engagement and building community.
- Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute events such as product launches, press conferences, and trade shows.
- Work closely with event organizers to maximize brand exposure and ensure seamless execution.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of PR and marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting ROI and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of media relations and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience in Consumer Electronics or Lifestyle Brands
- Proficiency in PR tools and platforms.
