  • Draft, distribute, and/or manage media materials such as press releases, announcements, and feature stories.

  • Pitch content to media outlets and third-party platforms to secure media coverage and backlinks in support of Digital Reputation Management (DRM) goals.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry-relevant journalists, media professionals, and influencers.

  • Monitor online platforms (Google, Yelp, Glassdoor, etc.) for positive and negative reviews, ensuring timely and professional responses in partnership and coordination with internal teams.

  • Coordinate with internal teams for both positive and negative social media comment responses, adhering to company brand voice and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the Progress Content team and create SEO-rich content for placement on third-party sites to enhance search engine rankings and support DRM goals.

  • Manage and execute outreach strategies for link building and backlinking to strengthen the company’s online authority and reputation.

  • Collaborate with the in-house social media team to share content and messaging across appropriate channels.

  • Provide monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sentiment analysis, review response rates, media mentions, and DRM progress.

  • Track goal progression, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments to strategies based on analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in PR, online reputation management, or digital marketing.

  • Proven experience in managing online reviews, reputation management tools, and social media platforms.

  • Strong writing skills with an ability to craft SEO-rich content and pitch stories to media outlets.

  • Experience managing award submissions at various levels (individual, brand, industry).

  • Proficiency in media monitoring, PR software, and analytics tools.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • We offer competitive compensation, including a performance-based bonus.

  • Our generous benefits package includes comprehensive healthcare coverage for you and your family, parental leave, paid time off, 401k match, 10 paid holidays and much more.
