Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented PR and Social Media Coordinator to join our team. Under the supervision of the PR Manager, this role’s primary focus will be managing and growing our social media presence while supporting public relations initiatives to enhance Best Lawyers’ brand visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate is a social media expert with a passion for storytelling and a knack for fostering audience engagement while contributing to PR strategies.
To be successful in the role, you’ll be expected to keep up with the media landscape and rising legal trends. Our ideal candidate for this role is a strategic, innovative thinker with business experience in social media management. Understanding public relations, content marketing and social media trends is a must.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop, implement and manage social media strategies across all company platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
- Maintain social media channels, including creating, scheduling and monitoring original written content tailored to each platform.
- Assist in promptly producing timely and on-brand responses to comments, messages and mentions.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and incorporate them into the content strategy to maintain relevance and engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the social accounts of legal associations and governing bodies and monitor the appropriate use of copyrighted and trademarked assets.
Paid Social Media Campaigns
- Plan, execute and optimize paid social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and conversions.
- Monitor social media performance and campaign results using the analytics to inform strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
- Utilize various analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights, etc.) to track audience engagement, identify trends and monitor our social media growth rate.
- Stay up to date with platform-specific ad tools and best practices.
Public Relations Support
- Assist the PR Manager in drafting and developing communication materials to promote Best Lawyers’ research cycle, rankings, brand value and growth initiatives.
- Maintain media lists, monitor and track media coverage and report on PR metrics.
- Assist in the maintenance and application of the Best Lawyers publicizing guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing events and conferences.
Content Creation & Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and external partners to develop content aligned with brand messaging and external coordination of Promotional Infographics.
- Activate social marketing campaigns to fulfill client orders and achieve optimal key performance metrics
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience working with and creating content for multiple social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X
- Functional knowledge of various analytics tools and ad management (LinkedIn Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager and Business Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - strong spelling and grammar skills necessary
- AP style
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
- Analytical approach to work
- Ability to multitask efficiently with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Some familiarity with the legal industry is preferred, but not required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in social media management with exposure to PR
