Barrio Burrito Bar is an exciting, fast-casual Tex-Mex food franchise that’s part of BarBurrito, Canada's largest and fastest-growing burrito chain. With our fresh, high-quality ingredients, bold menu items like bang-bang shrimp and "extreme fries," and a growing presence across North America, Barrio Burrito Bar is expanding rapidly in the U.S. In 2025, we’re opening our U.S head office in Fort Lauderdale, FL, as we roll out numerous locations across Florida and beyond. With over 900 contracted locations nationwide, the pace of expansion is fast, and we need a dynamic Marketing Manager to help lead the charge.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in restaurant marketing to support Barrio Burrito Bar's rapid growth. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing effective marketing strategies for our expanding franchise network, specifically in Florida, while also supporting our nationwide expansion.

The role will involve a mix of digital marketing, content creation, franchisee support, and hands-on involvement in local store openings and community marketing events. You will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency, engaging with local communities, and helping franchise partners drive success. You’ll also be required to travel frequently across Florida and the U.S. to assist with local marketing activations, grand openings, and franchise partner needs. Travel to Canada for initial training and ongoing collaboration with our head office will also be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Restaurant-Focused Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement local and national marketing campaigns designed to drive traffic, increase sales, and build brand awareness for new and existing Barrio Burrito Bar locations across the U.S.
  • Content Creation & Social Media: Lead content development across digital channels, including social media, email, and our website. Create engaging content that highlights our bold menu, community involvement, and restaurant experience to connect with both local and national audiences.
  • Website Management: Oversee the Barrio Burrito Bar website, ensuring it reflects the latest menu offerings, store promotions, and franchise-specific content. Optimize user experience and ensure information is consistent with ongoing campaigns.
  • Franchisee Support: Work closely with franchise partners to provide marketing guidance, resources, and tools to help them successfully market their locations. This includes supporting grand openings, running local promotions, and providing digital marketing best practices.
  • Local Marketing Strategy: Drive the development and execution of marketing strategies at the local level to ensure the Barrio Burrito Bar brand is consistently represented and resonates with customers across multiple markets.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with local influencers, media, and community organizations to drive foot traffic and promote store openings. Leverage partnerships and events to create buzz and engagement around Barrio Burrito Bar in key markets.
  • Travel: Travel across the U.S. to support franchise locations with marketing needs, assist with store openings, and engage with local communities. Occasional travel to Canada for training and collaboration with the head office will also be required.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports on campaign effectiveness, sales impact, and customer engagement. Use data to optimize future strategies and improve ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in multi-unit restaurant marketing, specifically with experience in digital marketing, content creation, and franchise support.
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant and foodservice industry, with a track record of driving marketing initiatives that increase customer engagement and sales in a fast-casual setting.
  • Expertise in social media marketing, website management (WordPress or similar platforms), Google Analytics, SEO, and digital advertising (Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Ads).
  • Experience working with franchise systems or multi-location brands is a requirement.
  • Creative skills in content creation, including photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting. A portfolio or samples of past work is required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and locations.
  • A strategic, data-driven thinker with the ability to execute creative ideas and measure their success.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S., including occasional trips to Canada for training and collaboration with the head office.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Travel requirement: 1-2 weeks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
