Description

The Regional Field Manager (RFM), Consumer Engagement Marketing, manages and oversees all sampling activity in his/her designated geography. They will also support sampling & marketing events in other geographies as needed & required. In addition, the RFM will be involved in other marketing projects both inside and outside of their designated geography as outlined by the Sr. Director Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement. That could involve ownership of Regional or National sampling programs or events. They will also be responsible for cultivating additional sampling & event opportunities within their geography.

This position reports directly into the Sr. Director, Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement, but works closely with his/her Sr. Field Marketing Manager on events & marketing plan approvals. The RFM’s directly manage the Consumer Engagement Managers (CEM’s) within their local market. The CEM’s manage all Sr. Ambassadors & Ambassadors (MAT’s) within their territory who directly manage all sampling activity. The RFM position is responsible for ensuring national, regional, and local marketing objectives are being met by the CEM’s in accordance with deadlines and direction established by senior leadership. The RFM should be working in the field with his or her CEM teams on a weekly basis. The RFM also approves all schedules and recaps within the system.


Essential Job Functions:
  • The RFM supports sampling activity within his/her designated geography. Occasionally supports activity outside the geography as needed. Goal is to increase brand awareness and improve the company's product image.
  • Responsible for identifying additional events & sampling opportunities within his/her geography.
  • Support the development and execution of identified events within the marketing territory.
  • He/she studies market conditions and develops strategies, with the CEM’s, necessary to execute activation on a local level.
  • Must stay current with market developments and opportunities as they happen.
  • Facilitates relationships with vendors who advance our overall MEC consumer engagement strategy and ensures the scope of all activities are on brand within the stated objectives.
  • Coordinates and supports efforts with the local sales and Field Marketing teams to maximize sales incentives.
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for activating specific Field Marketing directives within the market, including managing the preparation of logistics, coordination of resources, etc.
  • Oversees the timely completion of timesheets and maintains all pertinent records.
  • Maintains inventory records and other related necessary reporting data.
  • Constant upkeep of all data & recaps in “Main Event” is mandatory.
  • Recruit, hire, train and continuously develop CEM’s, evaluate employee performance, and create directives that enhance team performance.
  • Ability to assist and develop local campaigns in assigned region(s), as well as national activations to enhance the brand on a larger scale.
  • Schedule field market visits on a weekly basis to work with all CEM’s to monitor and evaluate teams performance.
  • When out in the field engaging with consumers, he/she should meet with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and enhance overall consumer engagement by working with headquarters to obtain the necessary tools and equipment to maintain a successful market.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience, preferably beverage or CPG related.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, or other related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with vendors and marketing partners.
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses.
  • Able to work independently and to be a collaborator.
  • Must have ability to work from home in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Provide creative input on specified local marketing activities.
  • Flexibility to travel or be “in trade” at least 50% of time.
  • Able to consistently work evenings and weekends.
  • Satisfactory driving and insurability record.

Base Pay Range: $69,675.00 - $99,535.00 (+)
