QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred, 4+ years in beverage industry field sales/marketing, experience managing Brand Ambassadors and distributor relationships, intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills, excellent organization and communication skills, and must reside in the Chicago market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive brand awareness through local events and partnerships, lead Brand Ambassadors, manage budgets, adapt national marketing plans for local markets, negotiate and evaluate partnerships, monitor competitors and market trends, and foster relationships with distributors.

The Regional Field Marketing Manager will enhance Liquid Death's brand presence in the Chicago market by implementing local marketing strategies, overseeing event sampling, and managing partnerships to drive sales and engagement.

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in these key areas:
- Grassroots marketing and/or CPG sales merchandising experience and strong local connections to the Chicago market
- A unique enthusiasm for life represented by a passion for cultural experiences across action sports, street art, music hip-hop/rap, punk/rock, and nightlife and the ability to leverage these passions into appropriate activities for Liquid Death
- Experience negotiating sponsorship agreements with ability to measure ROI
- Ability to anticipate and solve logistical challenges before they occur
- Ability to lead / manage Brand Ambassadors, but also get involved in their work load execution if needed
- Exhibit high sense of urgency, be well organized, possess a great attitude, be a team player and have the ability to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Experience inspiring confidence and quickly capturing the trust and respect of team/ business partners
- Prior successes in driving the creative process (creative mind)
Role Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with key internal teams (LD sales team and LD distributor partners) to implement brand experiences across local events, retail samplings and partnerships to increase target customer awareness and build deeper connections with the largest/most valuable distributor partners
- Understand the unique challenges of priority and secondary markets and adapt national marketing plans to help drive sales at retail and events
- Negotiate, execute, and evaluate partnership and sampling & sales opportunities across local events, festivals, and venues
- Manage and lead Brand Ambassadors
- Increase brand awareness and drive trial by securing on-brand, local sampling opportunities
- Become a collaborative partner with regional high volume distributors to maximize distributor investment, alignment and retail execution
- Generate partnership leads across local events, festivals, venues and on-premise
- Responsible for local budget management/expenses and adherence to corporate fiscal guidelines/policies
- Monitor competitors, identify market nuances and reports/shares relevant activity and information
Qualification Requirements:
- A Bachelor degree in business preferred but not required
- A minimum of 4+ years of relatable beverage industry Field Sales Marketing or Regional Field Sales experience that required leadership/management of both Brand Ambassadors and Distributor partner relationships
- Previous sale platform reporting experience (Qlikview or VIP) preferred but not required
- Intermediate Excel skills (data entry, basic report generation) and PowerPoint presentation and negotiation skills
- Intermediate level PowerPoint presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent organization & communication skills, ability to multi-task and work within ambiguity and high pressure situations
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
- Must be located in the Chicago, IL market
- Domestic travel up to 40% (mostly regional and to Liquid Death events)
- Possess a valid driver's license with access to a registered vehicle (vehicle stipend and fuel card will be provided until given company car)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to lift product cases and event supplies
The typical salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $98,000
