LOCATION

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, preferred bachelor’s degree in business or environmental science, 3-5 years of sales management experience, and 5-10 years of sales experience in hazardous waste/environmental sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the sales team to meet revenue targets, manage the sales pipeline, develop proposals, maintain client relationships, provide updates to management, oversee sales budget, and coach the team on sales objectives.

WasteXpress Environmental is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales in hazardous waste services while managing a Business Development team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
WasteXpress Environmental (WXE), a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and employees.
Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States.
WasteXpress has been helping PNW customers since 1989 by providing fast, friendly, and compliant hazardous waste disposal services to a broad range of clientele. Our value system treats every customer with the importance they deserve and the service they expect.
The Regional Sales Manager will lead by example as a Player-Coach where the leader will have overall annual sales revenue accountability for the WasteXpress Sales Team and will have individual sales revenue quota responsibility (Player). The position carries an annual revenue target broken down by quarter and will have responsibility for the management of approximately six (6) to eight (8) focused Business Development and Inside Sales individuals.
This role will be responsible for assessing the hazardous waste, transportation and disposal markets for the Business Development and Inside Sales Team (Coach) in conjunction with growing WasteXpress sales revenue and market share throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing/sales, environmental science, and/or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years sales management experience.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in the hazardous waste/environmental sector required.
- Proven Sales Management and Business Development/Sales track record.
- Working knowledge of 40 and 49 CFRs.
- Strong communication, presentation and organization skills – business acumen.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Assume accountability for overall WasteXpress focused business development teams’ sales pipeline, revenue, and accountability to CRM usage for all WasteXpress Business Development personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to direct, guide, coach and lead a geographically focused Business Development Sales Team to achieve sales objectives/goals.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve personal revenue targets.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Must be motivated, self-disciplined and possess strong time management skills.
- Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Develops quotes and proposals for clients.
- Responds to RFPs and RFQs.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, competitive landscape, and any challenges or opportunities in the region.
- Stay informed about the latest market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities
- Oversee the sales budget for the region, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve sales targets.
- Builds and maintains long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Partners with operations to improve customer experience while enhancing and building customer loyalty.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:
- Move about the jobsite as needed.
- Move work related equipment up to 10lbs.
- Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.
