We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business development and manage existing OEM customer accounts. This role is based at our headquarters in Huntley, IL, and reports directly to the General Manager. The position offers collaboration opportunities with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with OEM purchasers, engineers, and lighting designers to showcase the benefits of LTF products.
  • Expand sales within the lighting manufacturing sector, electrical distribution channels, and national sales networks.
  • Achieve sales targets, including revenue, pricing, and profit margins within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs, leveraging engineering and marketing support as required.
  • Maintain strong account relationships at all organizational levels to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyze and report on sales performance, market conditions, competitive trends, and opportunities.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly with a focus on enhancing satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven ability to identify, qualify, and develop relationships with OEMs.
  • Strong technical aptitude, ideally within the LED or electronics manufacturing industry. A mechanical technical background may also be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing sector, managing both custom design-to-order and inventory-based opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems; experience with Global Shop ERP solutions is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in channel management and customer support.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and sales planning skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other sales technologies.
  • Lighting industry or engineering experience is highly desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-driven with a positive attitude.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, trade shows, and new business development.
