Regional Sales Manager, West Coast
LOCATION
West Coast Territory, including California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and Vancouver, Canada.
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years of Sales Management experience, minimum of 5 years leading a sales team, preferably with Interiors Industry experience. Must be willing to travel up to 50% per year and live within the West Coast territory. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, excellent presentation skills, strong project management skills, and experience in managing remote positions are required.

Leads and develops sales team, creates and implements sales strategies, monitors team performance, builds client relationships, prepares sales forecasts, manages the sales budget, and conducts training for team members. Oversees change management, project management initiatives, and strategic planning.

Phillip Jeffries is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the West Coast Territory, focusing on sales strategy, team development, and client relations within the luxury interior design industry.
Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our West Coast Territory!
Our Sales team is searching for a dedicated Sales leader that knows the luxury Interior Design Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities within our US/Canada Domestic marketplace and executing strategies to capture those opportunities. The territory will include: California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Vancouver, Canada. This position will report directly to the Vice President of North America Sales.
What you will be doing:
Leadership:
- Being a key member of the sales region of Phillip Jeffries ensuring sales voice is heard
- Assist in creating and sharing the culture of PJ, improvements, new ideas and project this in a positive manner to the Sales Team
- Being a leader that is present and inspires others to do amazing work
- Facilitating resolution of escalated claims
- Review and approve discount requests for direct reports
- Make time to celebrate the wins - team, individual and company-wide
- Oversee change management process within sales team and company directives/initiatives
- Attend and participate in training to further improve leadership skills
Sales:
- Lead and develop sales team members
- Recruit, train and mentor sales team members
- Create Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans
- Analyze market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team against targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Track sales metrics and KPIs to measure team performance
- Manage the sales budget effectively
- Ensure efficient use of tools and technologies to support the sales process
Strategic Management:
- Develop strategic sales plan for sales region that is innovative and effective
- Increase Return on Investment (ROI’) s of sales initiatives targeting existing and new clientele
- Create, own and maintain the annual sales plan & budget
- Work with each department - creative, communications and analytics to develop strategic plans and processes for initiatives
Project Management, Sales:
- Ensure each initiative and program has a goal for success, is measured and adjusted as needed for optimal success
- Review the ROI analysis of all programs, dashboards and continuous review for program improvement and new opportunities
Business Development:
- Being innovative in the thinking and the ability to see opportunities for future sales
- Have the ability to stand alone and represent PJ in a professional manner that speaks to the brand's values
- Develop relationships with design community specifically top designers in each market
Training, Sales:
- Assist with recruiting and training of all new team members in conjunction with Talent and Training teams.
- Provide training in sales, product, CRM, and presentation styling to employees & partners
- Host and participate in annual & regional meetings
Must Have:
- 5 – 7 years of Sales Management experience
- Minimum of 5 years leading and managing a team of salespeople
- Previous Interiors Industry experience preferred
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% per year.
- Must live within the West Coast territory
- Microsoft applications with intermediate in excel & PowerPoint, outlook.
- Experience managing deadlines
- Understanding of budgets & compensation plans
- Excellent presentations skills
- Ability to hire, train, & manage a team
- Seasoned traveler
- Preferably a design background
- Experience managing team in different roles and in remote positions.
- “Can-do” attitude, willingness to roll up sleeves and get dirty
- Project management skills

- Field representative experience; preferred
