Repairs Technician

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in Mandarin (Chinese), hands-on experience with batteries or electronics, preferably with a quality control certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of MS Office, good math and technical skills, and understanding of quality control standards are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular quality assessments, generate weekly reports on product quality, ensure compliance with QC guidance, measure product dimensions, recommend improvements, document inspection results, resolve quality-related issues, restore product assets, and collaborate with overseas teams when necessary.

Oceania Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to supervise production processes, ensure product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a diverse international setting.

We are currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical quality control inspector to join our operations department. As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.
Main Responsibilities/Functions
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming and stocked products also any returning packages from vendors.
- Mark all products/packages that fail to meet quality expectations and generate a weekly report for the manager to review.
- Read QC guidance and product specifications to understand the requirements of our quality level and strictly adopt that guidance in QC control.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications, to determine if a product is good or not.
- Recommend improvements to the concerned department to ensure quality control.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Be able to fix some of the defects to recover product assets, products will include: EV bikes, furniture and other household goods.
- You will be responsible for recovering and restoring as many assets as possible.
- In a few cases you will be coordinating with the overseas team to fix an issue in the product and making sure to resell it.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification. (Required).
- Mandarin(Chinese) speaking ability (Required).
- Skillful and handy in fixing product with batteries or electronics.(Required)
- Certification in quality control is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Good math and technical skills.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
