Seeking a Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing efforts and graphic design tasks, contributing to brand success and implementing marketing strategies for the venue.
Tsao Food is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our digital marketing efforts and assist with graphic design tasks. This position will contribute to the success of our brand and help implement marketing strategies for our current venue. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with team members to ensure effective communication and execution of marketing initiatives. This role requires experience in managing social media accounts for businesses, particularly in the food and beverage industry, as well as a strong understanding of customer service and engaging a wide audience on digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day activities across all digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Google, Yelp, and the venue's webpage(s).
* Contribute to the creation of innovative programs and promotions aimed at driving revenue through increased guest patronage.
* Collaborate with the team to develop engaging and "delicious" digital content that resonates with our target audience.
* Create marketing materials, including menus, flyers, posters, and signage.
* Coordinate restaurant events, special promotions, and collaborations with influencers or local media.
Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing within the food and beverage/hospitality sector.
* Provide examples of key successes in the digital marketing realm throughout your experience.
* Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or video editing software is a plus.
* Experience in communicating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Knowledge of Asian/Chinese/Sichuan cuisine is preferred, but not required.
* Experience in restaurant operations is preferred, but not required.
Please note that work schedule, hours, and pay will be determined based on experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
