Join S&H Rugs as a Sales Assistant/Social Media Manager to assist the sales team and manage social media accounts, driving engagement and brand awareness for fine modern and traditional rugs.
S&H Rugs is a leading and growing maker and designer of fine modern and traditional hand knotted rugs. Our customers are interior designers,boutique rug galleries as well as extensive retail E-commerce business . Special orders and custom made colors and designs are being made for some of the nicest homes in the USA and abroad.

We are looking for a talented Sales Assistant / Social Media Manager to assist and be a part of our sales team, also to administer our social media accounts.
Your responsibilities include supporting our sales team , answering phones, sales inquiries, creating reports and reacting to sales needs and analysis. Our marketing is directed to businesses (interior designers, architects, building management) and the end user (residential, commercial clients).
You will also be responsible for administrating our social media accounts, managing posts and responding to followers as well as creating original text and video content. You will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company.
We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones, sales inquiries, creating reports and reacting to sales needs and analysis.
- Inbound and outbound sales and marketing communication through email, phone and marketing are directed to interior designers, architects, builders and the end users including residential, commercial clients.
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Collaborate with marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
- Create methods for finding and saving online customer reviews
- Requirements
- Loves to learn about a new product
- Proven work experience in sales administration and social media
- Sales experience
- Hands on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting, analytical and multitasking skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and familiarity with web design
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
- Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Instagram and Googles advertising platform is required
- Willing to travel and participate in trade shows
