Sales Account Manager- Western Region
LOCATION
Hybrid remote with periodic travel to customers and corporate offices as needed, primarily in California.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent professional experience, 5-7 years of sales management experience in the semiconductor or wafer probing industry, strong technical expertise in wafer probing and semiconductor testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor sales representatives, implement sales strategies aligned with corporate goals, manage strategic accounts, identify new business opportunities, provide technical support, engage with customers, and deliver sales forecasts and reports.

Seeking a dynamic Western Regional Sales Account Manager to oversee sales activities, drive growth, and expand market presence in the semiconductor testing and wafer probing markets across the western United States.

Job Title: Western Regional Sales Account Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Western Regional Sales Manager to lead and support our sales representatives across the western United States. This role requires a strong technical foundation, proven sales leadership, and deep industry experience to drive growth and expand our market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, building key customer relationships, and ensuring the success of regional sales initiatives.
Essential Job Functions of the Position:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor sales representatives in the western region, providing guidance, setting clear expectations, and driving accountability to meet performance targets.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with corporate goals, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion.
- Account Management: Support sales reps in managing strategic accounts, fostering customer relationships, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the semiconductor testing and wafer probing markets to expand the customer base.
- Technical Support: Utilize your technical expertise to assist sales reps with technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer problem-solving, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted partner to major customers, addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and driving long-term collaborations.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the Director of Global Sales & Marketing, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Travel: Regularly visit sales reps and customers within the region, attending meetings, industry conferences, and events as needed to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
Employment Requirements:
- Work Experience: 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the semiconductor or wafer probing industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- Skills: Ability to use advanced Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc. Good verbal and presentation skills, effective communication skills
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of wafer probing, RF/mmWave measurements, and semiconductor testing equipment.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Language ability: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Essential Abilities: Fast learner, team player, problem solver & can work independently without supervision
- Employment Authorization: Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with automated and manual probe stations.
- Knowledge of RF and wafer-level RF measurements.
- Experience working in a B2B technical sales environment, particularly with complex systems.
Working Conditions:
- Job Type: Full time
- Hours: Normal customer business hours Monday thru Friday. Weekends and overnight work may be required based upon customer/company requirements at any specific time.
- Travel: 50% travel. Weekend and overnight travel will be required based upon customer requirements and company needs. Attending trade shows and technical conferences as needed.
- Job Location: Hybrid Remote. Work from home/office with periodic travel to reps, customers, and corporate offices as needed. Fully remote is possible for highly autonomous candidates in strategic areas like California.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
