Two or more years of relevant work experience, basic knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software, understanding of marketing principles and industry trends, effective communication skills, and a strong desire to advance within a sales organization.

Seeking a creative and hardworking sales and marketing assistant to support research, content creation, and relationship building to enhance brand strategy and drive sales opportunities.
About the role
Are you creative, hardworking, and looking to gain hands-on experience while working on a variety of projects? We appreciate these qualities at Studio 5 and seek a sales and marketing assistant who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and research industry trends. This role will work collaboratively on teams to conduct research that improves our brand, communications, and sales and marketing strategy. The ideal sales and marketing assistant understands the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The right candidate should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings compellingly. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of brand marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies and an interest in working on high-impact projects.
Objectives of this role
- Play a role throughout the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns that further the company’s strategic goals.
- Apply marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges
- Provide support for virtual and in-person events
- Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance the brand’s standing
- Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives with next steps
In this role, you will:
- Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing and sales initiatives
- Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
- Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports
- Handle inbound requests from vendors and Thought Partners (clients)
- Utilize Salesforce, Crunchbase, Linkedin, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
- Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity
- Collect performance metrics to measure progress
- Report to Sales and Marketing Director with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
What you bring:
- Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful
- Two (2) or more years of relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends
- Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted challenges
- Strong communication skills via phone and email; and presentation skills
- Sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Self-motivated and hardworking
- Prior collaboration or personal project management experience
- Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role

Our interview process is three steps and includes
- Phase 1: Qualifying interview (15 mins)
- Phase 2: Candidate Assignment (45-60 mins)
