QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience, Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales (preferably in hospitality), proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce preferred), and POS, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team.

Maintain sales database in CRM, answer inbound and make outbound sales calls, coordinate group visits and events, craft sales presentations, educate the marketplace on Luna Park, manage client relationships, ensure flawless execution of events, and provide training to new sales team members.

About us:

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sales database in CRM.
  • Answer inbound and make outbound sales calls as directed.
  • Assist in maintaining all group and event files.
  • Coordinate and execute group visits including check-in process and payments.
  • Craft sales presentations that creatively utilize Luna Park in Coney Island assets to meet the goals of prospective guests.
  • Strategically plan, create, and market new opportunities that fulfill revenue.
  • Prospect, meet, and pitch events.
  • Educate the marketplace on the various facets of Luna Park in Coney Island.
  • Manage the overall client relationship through the sales process, contracting, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate and execute birthday events and special events plus other events.
  • Liaison with the Food and Beverage team to ensure flawless execution of events and parties.
  • Present and sell company services and products to current and potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients for referral leads.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new Sales team members.
  • Operate the Company’s POS system and CRM.
  • Cash Handling.
  • Submit and follow up on purchase orders and account receivables.
  • Obtaining deposits from guests.
  • Confirmation of all sales orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper resolution to guest complaints and inquiries.
  • Develop and promote company branding in alignment with Company culture and values.
  • Maintain professional knowledge up to date by participating in conferences and educational opportunities.
  • Perform other duties expected of the Sales Coordinator position and assist in all other critical needs of the Company as assigned.


Compensation
:

  • Hourly Rate from $20.00 to $25.00.
