Manage a pipeline of potential clients, conduct outbound efforts via email, LinkedIn, and phone, qualify clients, drive lead generation, maintain detailed CRM records, advocate for the product, and identify best practices for refining the lead generation strategy.

Crowded is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support sales and marketing campaigns, engage with potential clients, and contribute to business development in a hybrid work environment.

About You

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative who is excited to work in a hybrid role and join our team. The Sales Development Representative will be a key member of our marketing and sales team where you’ll support the execution of sales & marketing campaigns. You will contribute to all aspects of the business development process including industry/market research, client outreach, qualification, and relationship building with potential clients across the US. Responsibilities

  • Research, build and manage a pipeline of companies, contacts, and appointment settings for our sales team
  • Outbound efforts to target clients through email, LinkedIn, and phone — following up on marketing-generated opportunities.
  • Qualify potential clients and accurately manage and update the customer relationship management system (CRM) with detailed notes
  • Assist in creating creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book appointments
  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce.
  • Consistently exceed the monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Advocate for our product online and at industry events.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and discovering new potential sales outlets.
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in outbound software sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (via both phone and videocon)
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Strong communication, speaking writing and email skills
  • Creative problem-solver with strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Proficiency with SalesForce, Hubspot, Apollo, and other sales-tech/CRM SW.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related discipline from a US college.
  • Experience with Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Experience with email marketing and sales tools (for example Apollo or similar)
