We are seeking a Sales Lead Generation and Email Marketing Strategy Manager to focus exclusively on designing, executing, and optimizing high-converting email marketing strategies and driving lead generation efforts for both B2B and B2C audiences. This role is all about email marketing mastery and sales-driven strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Email Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Design and optimize automated email flows (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase) in Klaviyo to maximize conversions and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns that engage segmented audiences and encourage sales.
- Use A/B testing and performance data to continuously refine emails for higher open, click-through, and conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and maintain high deliverability rates.
- B2B & B2C Lead Generation
- Implement strategies to grow our B2C customer base through email campaigns tailored for individual shoppers.
- Develop a comprehensive B2B lead pipeline for wholesale channels, targeting US-based groomers, trainers, boutique pet stores, and similar markets.
- Source contacts and leads and conduct cold outreach via email to nurture and convert leads into customers.
- Sales-Driven Campaign Development
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing to create revenue-driving email campaigns around seasonal promotions, product launches, and special events.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and incorporate them into automated email flows.
- Leverage SMS as a complementary channel, aligning SMS campaigns with email marketing efforts for consistent messaging and engagement.
- Performance Optimization:
- Track and analyze email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to identify growth opportunities.
- Create visually appealing and conversion-focused email templates that resonate with different audience segments.
- Use data-driven insights to enhance the customer journey from acquisition to retention.
Qualifications:We’re looking for a candidate who specializes in email marketing and sales, not general digital marketing or social media management. Ideal qualifications include:
- Proven experience in email marketing strategy with a track record of driving revenue through optimized email flows (e.g., cart abandonment, welcome series, and retention campaigns).
- Strong background in B2B and B2C lead generation, particularly through email outreach and conversion-focused strategies.
- Hands-on expertise with Klaviyo or similar platforms, including segmentation, analytics, and automation.
- Exceptional skills in crafting sales-focused email copy and creating visually compelling templates.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and continuously improve performance.
- Experience launching and managing SMS campaigns as part of a broader email marketing strategy.
- Social media experience is not required—this role is entirely focused on email marketing and lead generation.
- Passion for pets and familiarity with the pet care industry is a plus!
