Seeking a Sales Manager to oversee sales operations, drive performance, and ensure exceptional customer service at JN Group Inc. dealership in Honolulu, HI.
JN Group Inc. is now hiring for a Sales Manager position. The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that the dealership meets their vehicle unit sales and front and back gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Ensuring that the units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its pre-fixed profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. The Sales Manager will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and measuring the activities of the Sales Department, while fostering a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecasting monthly units with each salesperson to establish objectives in terms of the number and type of customers coming into the dealership, closing percentages in each category, time utilization, prospecting efforts, unit sales, and projected incoming. At close of monthly business, review forecasts with individuals to identify areas of success in attaining goals, areas that fell short of goals and methods to improve those areas that fell short.
- Hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all vehicle sales department employees.
- Supervising and leading sales consultants, also known as Brand Specialists and Executive Brand Specialists, and the sales staff ensuring all members understand their responsibilities to provide outstanding customer service.
- Overseeing the efforts of sales department employees to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealer
- Communicating with all department staff to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Ensure that salespeople are following an established prospecting program to obtain optimum results.
- Keeping an accurate count of floor traffic.
- After initial training, become and remain proficient on all computer systems including factory and dealership DMS systems such as Momentum, Advent, ADP, DealerTrack, Auto Alert, Reverse Risk, etc. Remain proficient on software applications such as email, excel, word, etc.
- Other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have 1 year in a dealership management position.
- Must have excellent managerial skills.
- Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract.
Compensation is a monthly salary plus commissions.
