Job Summary:
The Tampa Sales Manager will drive sales growth and revenue generation in the residential, commercial, and community security sectors. This role involves overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, collaborate with the marketing, operations, and customer service departments, and ensure the company’s security solutions meet the needs of various market segments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies targeting residential, commercial, and community markets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and guide the sales team to improve sales techniques and conversion rates. Take corrective actions when needed.
- Actively participate in and lead customer presentations and systems demonstrations using technical knowledge, sales skills, and business acumen to assist in driving opportunities that create growth.
- Handle customer inquiries, objections, and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Increase market share by coaching the sales team on selling a broad range of SafeTouch electronic security products and services to new and existing customers.
- Lead and contribute to the technical development, pricing, and written narratives of comprehensive winning proposals.
- Assist sales reps in best practices of establishing call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics; consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
- Demonstrate the application of consultative sales techniques in customer development situations to overcome objections and close sales.
- Coach and mentor sales reps in Tampa and other geographies on community sales best practices.
- Collaborate with internal resources to improve operational delivery and implementation using customer feedback, competitor offerings, and knowledge of emerging trends in the security industry.
- Work with Field Operations teams to ensure the proper application of system products to meet customer expectations.
- Analyze market data to identify new sales opportunities, customer pain points, and areas for growth.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports regarding sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics for senior management.
- Set and track individual and team sales goals and KPIs, adjusting as necessary to meet targets.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development within the sales team.
- Use SafeTouch policies and procedures in all project preparation and implementation.
- Maintain quality assurance by following organizational standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and internal and external business partners.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales representatives within the assigned area.
- Track and analyze sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales activities.
- Monitor expenses related to sales activities and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Other duties as business needs require.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of sales and account management experience in electronic security integration or related industry
- Minimum of 2 years in a sales leadership role
- Strong computer applications skills with MS Office. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and customer service-oriented
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Strong at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Pass drug screening and background requirements
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance to include automobile liability and property damage coverage
- Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Work both inside and outside.
- Remain stationary at a desk, standing, and moving from place to place for prolonged periods.
- Move equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
- Observe details at close range.
- Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information.
- Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials while interacting with others.

Salary range: $85 – 100k plus incentives
