- Experience: 5–7+ years of sales experience, specifically in digital and linear ad sales, with a focus on sports and family-friendly content.
- Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the digital and traditional media landscapes, including advertising trends in kids, family, and sports markets.
- Client Relationships: Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with major advertisers, agencies, and key partners across diverse sectors, including Media and Entertainment, Technology, Telecom, and Streaming.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior decision-makers and C-suite executives.
- Team Collaboration: Experience contributing to and guiding a sales team, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Sales Acumen: A deep understanding of digital and linear ad sales processes, including programmatic advertising, branded content, and sponsorship deals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data, advertising performance metrics, and insights to inform sales strategies and maximize revenue potential.
- Adaptability: A results-oriented mindset with the ability to pivot and innovate in response to market changes and opportunities.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Market Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies for both digital and linear ad sales across APMC’s services, with a focus on sports, and kids & family verticals, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and expand relationships with top-tier advertisers and agencies, offering a comprehensive suite of digital and linear ad solutions.
- Revenue Growth: Manage the sales pipeline, driving both direct and programmatic ad sales opportunities, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets across digital and linear platforms.
- Strategic Partnerships: Support the development and management of strategic partnerships with brands and agencies to increase visibility and adoption of APMC’s ad offerings, leveraging both traditional and digital media solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, marketing, and content teams to align on advertising strategies, ensuring an integrated approach to client needs and market demands.
- Consultative Sales: Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and deliver tailored ad solutions that leverage both digital and linear platforms, maximizing all opportunities across media formats.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate revenue forecasts and regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and ad inventory utilization to senior leadership.
- Market Expansion: Contribute to shaping and guiding sales strategies for future content and service expansions, identifying new revenue streams in both digital and traditional media.
- Presentations and Proposals: Confidently prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals, positioning APMC’s platforms as premier advertising solutions for sports, family, and kids brands.
- Ad Technology Integration: Stay updated on advancements in ad technology and programmatic solutions, ensuring APMC remains at the forefront of digital and linear ad innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in digital and linear ad sales, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue across streaming, broadcast, or cable networks.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, including digital programmatic, linear TV ad buying, and direct brand partnerships.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated experience contributing to and guiding a sales team, with a collaborative approach to achieving business goals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using market data and insights to drive sales strategies.
- Passion: Passion for digital and traditional media, with a commitment to delivering family-friendly content and solutions to brands looking to reach these key audiences.
