The Opportunity: We’re expanding and looking for a driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager of Beauty Sales, this role will be focused on driving new business, exceeding sales targets, and building strong relationships within the salon and beauty industry. This is a high-impact, executional role, where your primary focus will be generating leads and acquiring new clients. You will have the chance to build a sustainable pipeline and create lasting relationships with salon owners, staff, and industry professionals. After an initial onboarding period, account management will transition to our Member Success Team, but your key responsibility is to prospect, onboard, and drive the acquisition of new clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sales:
- Lead generation, prospecting, and acquiring new clients, with a focus on making at least 40 calls per day.
- Onboard new customers, ensuring seamless integration into our system for the first three months.
- Manage incoming leads using CRM (HubSpot) and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
- Foster relationships with salon owners and staff during onboarding to ensure satisfaction and successful adoption of GCS services.
- Represent GCS at industry events, trade shows, podcasts, and other media opportunities as a brand ambassador.
- Troubleshoot program-related issues and respond to client queries during the onboarding phase.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records in CRM for all sales documents and client registrations.
- Monitor KPIs and track the success of your onboarded clients, ensuring smooth transitions and high satisfaction.
- Provide valuable feedback and recommendations for marketing materials.
- Participate in team meetings to continuously improve the sales process.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a passionate, self-driven salesperson with:
- 3-7 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on lead generation and client acquisition.
- A track record of meeting high activity goals (e.g., making 40 calls per day to build and nurture new business).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships via phone and email.
- Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot and a solid understanding of sales pipelines.
- A passion for sustainability and knowledge of regenerative practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to independently generate new business and achieve revenue targets.
- A customer-centric mindset, with a focus on proactively resolving issues and ensuring client success.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges effectively.
- Comfort with remote work, managing your schedule independently, and a high degree of self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel 2-4 times per year for events, meetings, and industry conferences.
