SHORT DESCRIPTION

Higher Information Group seeks a Sales Specialist to drive digital marketing initiatives in Pennsylvania and New York, supporting field representatives and leveraging marketing tools to enhance sales and client relationships.

Higher Information Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Specialist to lead our digital marketing initiatives and support 20 field representatives across Pennsylvania and New York. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Delivery Team, which is responsible for the division’s P&L, to align sales efforts with operational goals. This position is an onsite position and would like the incumbent to be within an hour if the office.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Team, you will identify opportunities for expansion and, as needed, engage external partners to address solutions beyond our current in-house capabilities.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in digital marketing, you will support field representatives in delivering tailored marketing solutions, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing delivery team to align sales strategies with operational objectives and P&L goal.
  • Work with 20 field reps to develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to Pennsylvania and New York market
  • Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their marketing needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Present digital marketing solutions, showcasing value through product demonstrations and client success stories.
  • Identify and engage external partners to address client opportunities outside the scope or capabilities of the internal delivery team.
  • Work closely with the field team to generate leads, identify opportunities, and close deals.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage sales activities, monitor progress, and generate performance reports.
  • Actively participate in direct sales efforts, including outreach and cold calling, to drive pipeline growth
  • Provide expert guidance on marketing trends, tools, and strategies to field reps and clients.
  • Manage sales territories effectively to optimize client coverage and maximize revenue potential.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by offering ongoing support and recommendations for digital marketing strategies.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, with experience in digital marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and website development.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing client relationships and sales data.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in lead generation, cold calling, and closing sales effectively.
  • Experience in territory management and supporting diverse teams in achieving their sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
