At Substrata you will be supplied with all the training and knowledge required to sell our products within the first few months of employment so you will be set up for success.


THE OPPORTUNITY

Working for Substrata as a Sales Representative in Omaha, NE you will have consistent interaction with current and future clients via phone, email, and text to build relationships and close sales. All Sales Representatives are compensated with a competitive base salary and an unlimited tiered commission structure.


THE SKILL SET

  • 5 years’ B2B sales experience or bachelor’s degree
  • Must be organized and possess self-discipline to follow through with sales cycles and sales methodology.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills
  • Have a strong work ethic and self-motivation with a result oriented and driven to succeed mindset
  • Technically proficient, knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Experience using a CRM

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU’LL:

  • Complete in-house training program with the highest degree of proficiency.
  • Give and pass sales presentation to CEO as final step in training process.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU’LL:

  • Prospect/Cold call new counties, companies, or industries
  • Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Follow up with government leads provided by Substrata
  • Follow up with clients consistently throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Assist in presenting/demonstrating the value of the products & services to prospective clients.
  • Promote, sell, and secure orders through a relationship and solution-based approach.
  • Maintain exceptional service and product knowledge
  • Enter all data into company’s CRM.
  • Eligible for commission pay (prospecting period).

WITHIN 6 MONTHS YOU’LL:

  • Consistently look for opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Achieve or exceed annual, quarterly, and monthly goals and objectives including but not limited to, unit sales, revenue volume, margins, sales cycle times, customer growth, and cost controls for your market segments.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, Marketing Department, and Operations teams within assigned market segments to maximize sales volume, and customer satisfaction.
  • Compile and analyze data to find trends.
  • Attend trade shows or other sales/industry events as needed
