Sales Specialist Internship 2025

Media Island Systems, is an all in one digital marketing software and agency specializing in the international tourism industry, specifically with Central American tourism agencies. We work on campaigns highly targeted to Miami, FL, and surrounding areas to increase our clients' branding and to improve their client acquisition processes.

We are currently recruiting a candidate for our Sales Specialist Internship position for the 2025 spring and summer semesters, with the ability to start training within the next few weeks. This will be a paid internship experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Specialist intern is primarily responsible for prospecting and doing cold outreach, as well as following up on warm leads who engaged in our ads and converting them into customers. You will also be assisting our clients with sales outreach. You will reach out to prior and potential clients to increase participation in our services as well.

No sales experience is required, ongoing sales training is provided

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily review of the leads provided from the different sources and funnels
• Call, email, and use various communication forms to identify the validity and potential of the lead
• Convert leads into customers
• Track and report on all leads within the pipeline using our intern CRM software
• Works on miscellaneous projects as directed by the Sales Director and Executive Team

Qualifications:

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• 1+ years of prior experience in digital marketing and social media management preferred.
• Prior experience at a digital marketing agency is a plus
• Strong knowledge of social media trends and the competitive landscape of digital marketing.
• Conversational and written fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
