Job Description:
The Credit and Collections Analyst will analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. This position will also regularly update credit information and advise leadership of risk. The position will include communication with clients regarding outstanding amounts due and coordination with Sales Representatives and Accounting regarding same. The goal is to ensure timely and accurate payment for services and products delivered.

Smart Source LLC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Trainee to join our dynamic Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in sales, business development ,and client relationship management. As a Sales Intern, you will support the Sales team in driving new business, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to help expand Smart Source’s footprint across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales: Assist the Sales team in prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting research, and identifying potential clients in various verticals such as healthcare, finance, retail, and more.
- Client Communication: Help maintain communication with existing and prospective clients via email, phone, and social media, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Sales Presentations: Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales materials to present to potential clients.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, new business opportunities, and industry insights.
- CRM Management: Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and timely information regarding leads, prospects, and sales activities.
- Lead Generation: Assist in lead generation efforts through various channels, including digital marketing, cold calling, and networking events.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Sales department, including scheduling meetings, organizing client interactions, and maintaining sales documents and reports.
- Event Assistance: Support sales efforts during trade shows, client meetings, and industry events as required.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of at least an Associate’s degree program with concentration in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for learning about sales and business development.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
