Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical sales and business development, with a proven track record in outside sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends, develop effective sales strategies, and foster strong relationships with clients. As the Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization by enhancing our market presence and achieving sales targets.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and increase market share.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth.
- Manage key client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for major accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns that align with sales initiatives.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance metrics.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills in technology sales and customer service.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales role preferrably in facility services or a technical service industry.
- A proven and verifiable track record of closing deals of $1M+ and exceeding Quotas.
- A proven and verifiable track record of leading a sales team to acheive annual Quotas.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with experience managing teams effectively.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software for tracking sales performance.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients or attend industry events.
- Contract management, hiring, cross-functional services, or national account selling experience preferred.

Computer Skills:
- Experience using CRM databases.
