Join The Lash Babe Co. as a part-time team member to enhance social media presence and provide exceptional customer service in a trendy salon environment.

Welcome to The Lash Babe Co. in Terre Haute, Indiana. We are a trendy, salon on 7th & Margaret with over 2500sqft! We are Terre Haute's First Indiana Recognized Lash Academy!! We are looking for more babes to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Manage content and schedules for all social media accounts (mainly IG/FB)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in influencer marketing to continuously innovate and improve our strategies.
  • Create, shoot & post content on social media platforms
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
  • Check in/out clients at the front desk
  • Assist with salon flow as needed
  • Ensure client comfort and safety throughout the services provided.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, sterilize tools, and follow proper sanitation protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships.
  • Understands, promotes, and sells our service offerings
  • Understands and promotes exclusive retail products for guest’s at-home usage and aftercare.
  • Creates excellent experience for guests with a charismatic, friendly, and helpful attitude
  • Provides frequency recommendations and education to guests on proper aftercare
  • Generates new clientele through the referral program ($5 when you refer a friend and they mention you)
  • General day-to-day operational tasks for the studio
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, encouraging repeat appointments and referrals.
  • Manage bookings and appointments with punctuality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other salon staff to ensure clients receive the best possible service and leave satisfied with their experience.
  • Check out clients and customers with boutique and service items
  • Maintain the boutique and Help with local boutique events
  • Come up with shopping and salon events to happen quarterly/seasonally.
  • Assistant to the owner
  • Warmly greet clients and customers, have them wait in the waiting area and notify their service provider of their arrival.
  • Book and confirm appointments via phone or email.
  • Process transactions and issue receipts
  • Offer beverages to clients who are waiting or processing at a hair station
  • Welcome walk-ins and answer questions of customers
  • Inform clients of deals, discounts and upcoming events.
  • Sell products when appropriate
  • Manage phone calls and messages
  • Update client records (ensure everyone has a card on file)
  • Keep track of what is needed in the salon
  • Make sure all service providers are working and clocked in, when not working, clocked out.
  • Get clients in the door!

Requirements

  • Passionate about the beauty industry and social media.
  • Have some Social Media Experience
  • Outgoing personality, able to work with others and be a team player.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, neat and clean appearance.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to sell additional products and services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
