Highwire is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Social Media & Influencer to join our growing digital team to help develop and deliver programs and campaigns on behalf of some of the biggest brands. This is a hands-on and varied role for someone well-versed in social media and influencer marketing. The role is suited for someone comfortable delivering excellent content, managing social channels, partnering with influencers and executing paid content amplification.
The digital landscape is ever-changing and we expect you to explore constantly: New online communities, new pockets of influencers, and new paid media branding opportunities or tactics. Highwire’s digital team are experts who combine excellent copywriting, client service and a strong sense of teamwork. If you are ever-curious and eager to implement the latest digital marketing trends in support of client goals, then this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate is comfortable handling up to five client accounts, proactively recommending new ways to improve processes and client results. You are interested in testing new ways to measure program effectiveness (website traffic, lead gen, etc.), based on the marketing objectives of the clients. Working in close contact with digital leadership, senior account executives are self-starters and the driving force behind award-winning accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to client contact for social media and influencer program deliverables, providing strategic insights and updates.
- Write and edit compelling, platform-specific social copy for brands and executives, ensuring alignment with client voice and goals.
- Collaborate directly with influencers to plan and execute virtual and in-person activations, fostering authentic partnerships.
- Develop content amplification strategies and manage paid media campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
- Lead community management efforts, including social listening, audience engagement, and trend monitoring.
- Analyze performance metrics across social, influencer, and paid channels to refine strategies and recommend improvements.
- Research and propose new social media platforms, influencer trends, and digital tools to elevate client programs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, attending networking events and professional development opportunities to bring fresh ideas to the team and clients.
Requirements
- 4+ years of client facing agency experience or equivalent (working in social media, digital content, influencer, paid, etc.)
- Growth mindset. You enjoy challenges, are eager to learn and approach problems as opportunities to develop new skills.
- Effectively prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.
- Deadline-driven, with attention to detail and a demonstrable passion for improving results (and learning new skills) over time.
- The ability to quickly and effectively adjust digital strategy, voice and tone based on each client and audience.
- Takes initiative and seeks out new ways to deliver against client goals.
- Strong organizational skills, and the aptitude to handle multiple clients and projects at once.
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, and other digital tools for analytics, influencer management etc. such as Google Analytics, Brandwatch, Traackr or Audiense is a plus.
